I was prepared to come up with a nice response after eating this, but actually, it’s really rather delightful. It’s incredibly delicious. Well done.

I tried Akua Kelp Jerky and, no joke—I was actually floored… ...This kelp jerky has a tender, yet totally substantial, texture.

Just received my pack of AKUA and it's so good!!! I'm so happy options like this are out in the world.

The Sesame & Nori Sea Salt is my favorite flavor, and it’s so nutrient dense. It’s also healthy, portable, and flavorful!

AKUA’s texture mirrored animal jerky really well, and was just as filling.

Mind Body Green

I was really impressed with the flavor and texture and so has been everyone I've let try it! It really is Kelp Jerky like it says on the tin and tastes so good!

Colin Fahrion

Aimed at the vegan market, seaweed jerky is high in protein, with a chewy-crisp texture.

Kelp Jerky replaces my popcorn for watching movies (and many more activities!) -- thank you for keeping me and the Earth healthy!

"Kelp is one of the most nutrient-rich foods you can eat, containing minerals that are hard to come by in the American diet, like manganese, thyroid-boosting iodine, and it's rich in vitamin C and iron.”

Dr. Mark Hyman

My family has been ordering these snacks for a while & we love them! We've recommend them to family & friends and have had them served at many family picnics and gathering. It is great to have snacks that taste good and also help the environment! These snacks have changed our lives!

The world's first carbon negative snack

Our ocean-farmed kelp is a zero-input crop that grows without dry land, fresh water, fertilizer or feed. Kelp also has the ability to sequester carbon and nitrogen from our seas 5-20x more effectively than land-based plants do from the air.

In 2019, our Kelp Jerky product alone uses 40,000 pounds of regeneratively ocean farmed kelp responsible for pulling 2,000 pounds (1 ton) of carbon from our oceans.

Comparatively, eating 300 beef burgers creates the same amount of carbon! In fact, animal agriculture, uses ⅓ of our planet's fresh water, ⅓ of our dry land, and is the 2nd largest contributor to greenhouse gas emissions in the world.
